CEO & President
Tim Tyler has guided the Borroughs Corporation as President of the company for over two decades. He previously served as President of the Tyler Supply Company for 15 years, and was also an engineer for Caterpillar Tractor. Tim Tyler and the Tyler family have been an integral part of the Kalamazoo business community for over a century. Tim takes on an enormous amount of day-to-day responsibility for the direction and management of the company, not to mention the satisfaction of our customers. He also takes great pride in the professional experience, expertise, and knowledge of our employees.
Executive Vice President
For over twenty years Zac has had a major impact on Borroughs. Beginning his career at the customer service desk, he then transitioned into the Midwest Regional Manager and continued to advance within the company. Over the past several years he has managed relationships with some of Borroughs’ largest clients, worked extensively with large distribution projects within the e-commerce sector, and provided inroads to new markets. Outside of the office, Zac enjoys history and camping with his family. You can usually find him on the weekends at a sporting event cheering on one of his four kids!
Teresa joined the Borroughs team in 2015 as a Plant Controller and then was promoted to VP of Finance in 2017. She has an MBA in Accounting from Baker College and many years of experience working in operational accounting in the manufacturing and distribution sector. She strives for continuous improvement within the department as well as working with the management team on overall process improvements for the company. In her spare time Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband and grand kids, volunteering with the kids ministry at her church, quilting and playing softball.
Vice President of Operations
Kai has been an integral part of the Borroughs IT department since 1998, and brings a plethora of IT knowledge to Borroughs Corporation. With a degree in computer science from Western Michigan and experience as a systems analyst, he can build, maintain, and repair just about anything electronic. Other interests, outside of technology, include mountain biking and golf.
Vice President of Sales
For 20 years Ricky has played a major role in the successful sales of Borroughs automotive parts & service equipment. Beginning his career with Borroughs as the General Manager for the Dallas warehouse, he led the Ford Rotunda Sales initiatives that won Borroughs the Rotunda Award for “Highest Year-Over-Year Growth”, and was instrumental in the direction of Borroughs’ new Automotive Workstation product line. Ricky is a Texas native and enjoys playing softball and deer hunting.
Director of Marketing
Shannon is responsible for all marketing elements from strategy through to brand marketing and communications. Her role involves working to fulfill the vision, values and priorities aligned to growth objectives. She will also work with our distributor partners to support their marketing and growth efforts. Shannon works remotely in her home state of Wisconsin, where she spends her “free time” with her husband chasing after their three small kiddos.
Director of Engineering
Dale is responsible for leading the functions of product engineering, new product development, design, manufacturing, engineering, testing and quality control initiatives. His career path began in the material handling industry as a Product Development Engineer, advanced to Engineering Manager, and then as a Product Manager. With over 30 years of engineering experience including multiple design patents, Dale brings an extensive background to his role as Director of Engineering. He is married with three children, is a retired youth baseball-softball manager, and enjoys home construction projects.
Director of Human Resources
Erin is responsible for handling Borroughs’ human resources and wellness programs. Erin brings a can-do attitude and assists each and every employee with their knowledge of Borroughs’ culture and practices. A married mother of three, Erin is active in the Kalamazoo community. Her personal goals at work drive her desire to keep the Borroughs team in the know and up to speed on the ever changing dynamics of staffing needs throughout the plant.
