Standard
Cantilever Systems
Wilsonstak Cantilever Systems are made from strong, durable
components...
Each unit frame is made of 16 gauge welded steel construction,
eliminating the need for sway braces and starter/adder components.
Each frame accommodates single or double face configuration.
Shelves are made of 18 gauge steel with triple bends on the front and back edge to prevent sagging.
The Wilsonstak shelf surpasses all American Library Association strength
and durability standards.

Single or double face, the Wilsonstak base bracket offers greater
stability because the wrap around design becomes part of the frame.
One piece base shelf ensures stable, free-standing installations.
Wilsonstak Cantilever shelving has many shelf options: sloped media,
zig-zag, storage, & sliding reference. Options also include a
sloped display base, canopy top, free-standing book supports, sliding
dividers on integral backstop shelves, adjustable dividers, under-shelf
wire book supports, card holders, range finders and more!

Library Bookstack Planning
Library bookstacks are shelving units specifically designed for efficient storage
and display of library collections. With today's multimedia
collections available, proper planning, layout and selection of
bookstacks and component accessories, is a very important aspect of
today's library design.
Standard Bookstack Sizes
Widths: 36" or 30" wide overall
Heights: 42", 52", 66", 78", 90", or 93"
Depths: *Single-faced: 8", 9", 10", or 12"
*Double-faced: 16", 18", 20" or 24"
Special sizes can be made to order.
*Nominal vs. Actual Dimensions: For Cantilever type bookstacks, the
adjustable shelves and base shelf depths are given in "nominal"
dimensions, which indicates the depth from the front edge of the shelf
to the center line of the 2" depth frame. For adjustable shelves,
the actual depth is 1" less than the "nominal" depth. For base
shelves, the actual depth of the shelf, as well as the overall depth of
the bookstack unit, will measure 1-3/8" greater than the "nominal" depth
for single face units and 7/16" greater than the "nominal" depth for
double faced units. eg.24" base shelf is actually 24-7/16" deep. |
