Service Bay Workbenches
Service Departments have always been integral to a dealership's profitability.  Now, they are becoming more visible to customers.  A state-of-the-art service department with well trained and well equipped technicians is a key component in developing long term repeat customers.  To help you achieve your goals for your service department, Borroughs introduces the Pro Series workbench system.Pro Series Service Bay
The Pro Series workbench system brings everything your technicians need within easy reach.  It also will accommodate virtually everything your techs need.  Overhead cabinets have locking doors for a neat appearance and are designed to hold lift controls, computers, keyboards, telephones, binders and other shop supplies.  The lower workbench has a 12 gauge steel work surface, accommodates a number of fluid and utility reels and will provide a concealed compartment for lift control power units.

Workbenches

Four sizes of workbenches are available, 10', 6', 5' and 4'.  They can be used individually or in combination.  All work surfaces are 29" deep and include a painted steel top.

Standard Features:

  • Pro-Series Workbench with Upper CabinetService Panels with duplex electrical knock-outs and hose reel punch-outs
  • Outboard overhang with either left hand or right hand configuration
  • Sliding door storage compartments
  • Backstops to prevent items from slipping off the work surface

Available Options:

  • Stainless steel wrapper for work surface
  • Heavy-duty rubber work surface mat
  • Roller guides for hoses and electrical reels
  • Chase panels to conceal utilities such as wiring and piping
  • Lift control cabinet cover for popular brand power tools
  • Cover plates to conceal unused punch-outs

Upper Cabinets

Five sizes of upper cabinets and a computer enclosure are available for mounting above the workbenches.  There are three configurations of 10' and 6' cabinets; two different 5' cabinets and one each in the 4' and 3' sizes.  All are standard with a lockable 'flipper' door.  A separate 2' computer enclosure, with optional locking door is also available.

  • All doors include key locks
  • All upper cabinets are 18" deep
  • Lift doors are supported and assisted by maintenance-free gas springs

Available Options:

  • A tip-up, slide-in door for the computer enclosure
  • Articulating keyboard tray and mouse pad
  • An under-cabinet 48" task light
